JAMES WEEKS is a young composer and conductor. He was an organ scholar of Queens' College Cambridge, where his duties included directing the chapel choir. In 2002 he founded the vocal ensemble Exaudi, which has attracted glowing plaudits for its performances of contemporary music. James's own music is receiving increasing recognition and his string quartet Vertical Diptych was premièred at the Gaudeamus International Music Week 2002 in Amsterdam.

The course will be held from 9.30am to 5.30pm on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 February 2007. You are asked to arrive by 9.15am on the Saturday.
